UNICMALL began its business activities in 1960, dedicated to the manufacture of lime on an industrial basis. It has constantly been innovating, whilst always being dedicated to the manufacture of lime for use in any area of construction. These areas include bases, fine mortars and mineral paints as well as plasters and spatula-type or spiral finishes.

The aim has always been to achieve finer products and make smooth and shiny Venetian-type stuccoes. Mineral paint has also been modernised by adding products in order to achieve features more in line with current demands, including applications that spread more evenly and give better coverage with each brushstroke.

The entire process of high quality applications and final finishes has been designed with the idea of its complying with a colour chart by incorporating mineral pigments, allowing us to offer a ready-coloured range of products.

Stucco, mortar, stucco plaster and lime finishes have been used since ancient times.

Syrians, Egyptians, Greeks and Romans all used calcium stones dissolved in water for constructing buildings. Subsequently, the Arabs perfected their use for decorative purposes, despite this fact their use did not spread until the 16th century when renowned Renaissance architects used lime as the basis for decorating their works.

Today's demand for high quality products has led to the continued use of lime: for its general ease of use in construction, as it is compatible with most surfaces, due to its being environment-friendly as it absorbs CO2, because it lets surfaces breathe and for the beauty of its finishes.
